Update: 60 Scarves in 60 Days Challenge

I have decided not to give an updated count at the moment, and this is because we have about 3 1/2 days left to the Challenge.  We've already met the goal of 60 Scarves in 60 Days, but the big question here is: did we exceed beating last years' number?

If you've pledged creating a scarf, or have a new total, please let me know as I'd like to ensure I have correct totals for everyone.  On November 1st, I will post the final numbers AND post the winner of the drawing.  So please, ensure you let me know what your final number(s) are.

I spent yesterday properly weaving in ends, and then packaging up my scarves with hats and (purchased) gloves for our annual Salvation Army drive that my CGOA Chapter participates in.  During the winter, here in Connecticut, it gets plenty cold, and these sets will go towards helping those in need keep warm.

Hi Dee,

I've made 7 scarves towards the Challenge. I was working on a project of sending 22 scarves to my nephew in Iraq and someone told me I could add the ones I made to the goal. That was a wonderful project.

Hi Dee,
I have completed and sent out 4 scarves to my friend Millie, who is going to send them (a total of 25) to her nephew in Iraq. I had a Trojan virus in my laptop and was not able to get a pic of it into my blog like the others.
This is the first year I participated in the 60 scarves in 60 days and look forward to next year. Maybe getting a little earlier start. :o)
Thank you.

I crocheted three scarves and did one in knit; and there were two scarves knit by ladies in my knitting group, too. We all donated these for the Red Scarf Project this year:) I just didn't blog a full photo of all the scarves. I have to unload the camera one of these days... it's in there!

my total is 2 scarves. I donated them to my dd's preschool clothing giveaway. the others that I had listed on my site did not sell.  Can't wait to do this again next yeat! Maybe then I won't be so busy and can make more!
